About Susan Stone
When I started my photography career, I knew I wanted to take my images further than the click of a shutter, so I built a darkroom in my home and explored my creativity under a red light. When digital photography arrived on the scene, I came out of the dark, into the world of pixels and possibilities. Today, I take my images even further with paint and mixed media. I use layers, texture, and contrast to create complex images of everyday things, places, and people. Hints of the past and the present play together to tell my visional stories. HI Mary, Thank you for favoring my work. Are you in Wayzata? I have a lot of my work at Anne and Friends in the Bay Center. ( the mall that the Pancake House is in). Sadly, they have finally given the retailers a deadline of July 16 as the last day for business. The mall will soon be demolished and an exciting new project will stand in its place. If you haven't been to Anne and Friends please visit and tell your friends. Anne has filled two retail spaces with wonderful art and gifts from local talent. (She owned the Good Life near Maggies) . Also, Mary, you have some really nice images on your site.
