About Susan Stone

Susan Stone

When I started my photography career, I knew I wanted to take my images further than the click of a shutter, so I built a darkroom in my home and explored my creativity under a red light. When digital photography arrived on the scene, I came out of the dark, into the world of pixels and possibilities. Today, I take my images even further with paint and mixed media. I use layers, texture, and contrast to create complex images of everyday things, places, and people. Hints of the past and the present play together to tell my visional stories. For inquiries on usage rights or purchasing original art pieces, don't hesitate to contact me at sstone@susansphotoart.com. Please visit my main website at...
